Morning: After breakfast, discover the beautiful little town of Bad Radkersburg, situated just a stone-throw away from the Slovenian border. You have a choice between exploring the spa called “Therme”, or you can go on an easy bike ride along the banks of the Mur river.

Later, we will take you to two signature thermal spa resorts, which are typical of this region. Get an in-depth tour of four-star Hotel & Spa Der Steirerhof in Bad Waltersdorf, and the famous spa resort designed by the Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Rogner Bad Blumau in the town by the same name.

And for all the chocolate lovers among you, we will visit the Zotter Chocolate manufactory. Zotter chocolates are handmade and produced from fair-trade products, but what really sets them apart are their unconventional ingredients and flavor compositions. Get ready to try some interesting flavors!

Evening: For dinner we will head to a Buschenschank, a traditional, local wine tavern. We will be served a dish called Brettljause, which are local cheeses, cured meats, and artisanal breads.  The young and dynamic owners of  Buschenschank Krenn.49 in Edelsbach will help us understand why locals love their Styrian Brettljause so much.

Return to your hotel for another overnight in Bad Radkersburg.
